Hi-Lo Count is the most widely written about, and in my judgment, the most commonly used card counting strategy. The High-Low was first introduced in 1963 by Harvey Dubner.
Similar to the zen count.
2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 A
+1 + 1 +1 +1 +1 0 0 0 -1 -1
Start with the running count.
Next step is to divide that count by the remaining decks to get the “true count.”
The higher the true count the higher the bet you should make.
That’s the hi-lo counting system in a nutshell.
With practice makes perfect, so keep this guide in your pocket and practice counting at home, on the bus, or wherever you have a moments time. Sooner or later it will become 2nd nature and card counting in blackjack will feel easy.
