Just played my first online Slots Tournament, and it was quite interesting but not very interactive as I clicked AutoSpin, which then I just sat there and waited for the machine to spit out random results on luck.
The tournament starts with buy-ins. This means that you pay an entry fee to join the tournament and have a shot at winning. The amount of players and the cost of entry will determine the prize pool and in my case it was 10 players with a top prize of $4.5M virtual chips. So the casino took almost half as juice/casomp rake to run the tournament!!
This is the lobby and features I got dropped into after paying $1M in virtual Chips.
I don’t know what Hi-Lo slots meant for slots because I was assuming I was going into a tourney where I had more interaction. I didn’t do so well as I didn’t know what to expect from this slots tourney.
Essentially, all I had to do was try my luck and spin the slots for 15 minutes, and hope to get as much money, or the highest balance I could in that time. At the end of the 15 minutes, whoever had the highest will win the top prize. I came dead last as you can see here.
In a land based casino, some slots tournaments are free and others are comped in which case the casino is essentially paying the buy-in for you to bring you into the casino. Some either give a set number of spins or a length of time for your slot tournament session. What you think about slots tourneys?
