For those of you who don’t know what Slingo is, Slingo is a hybrid of slots and bingo mixed into one game.

As the name states… Sl (SLOTS) and INGO (BINGO)!

Slingo: Mix of Slots & BINGO

Slingo: Mix of Slots & BINGO

Slingo is a fairly new game and was only created in 1995 and is played multiplayer just like a bingo game, but relies on the element of chance, to ‘spin’ for numbers just like slots. If you know how to play slots or how to play bingo, then Slingo will be a breeze.

Eg. If you spin for numbers on your bingo cards and five numbers appear that you have on your card, you can mark those off. During the game, other items in your spin may result that are not numbers, giving you bonus or boosts to your game such as a Joker or Super Joker. Other items such as coins, free spins, devils (decreases your score by half) and clocks may also appear.

Slingo is played on a point system, where each action you take in the game equates to a certain amount of points. Clearing lines or making ‘Bingos’ will award you 1000 points for example, or getting a coin on a spin will also give you 1000 points. To end the game, the player who has the most points wins. The goal for a player is to mark off all possible numbers in a specific number of time.

You can earn points in Slingo for:

  • Marking Numbers (200 pts)
  • Clearing lines of numbers  like in regular bingo (1,000 pts)
  • Getting a coin on a spin (1,000 points)
  • Spinning three, four, or five jokers in a single spin (super joker counts) (3 = 1,000 points, 4 = 2,500 points, 5 = 10,000 points)
  • Clearing the entire card, which earns a bonus in relation to number of spins used:
    • Spins 5-12 – 11,000 Points (it is impossible to fill a Slingo card in less than 5 spins even if you are super lucky)
    • Spin 13 – 10,000 Points
    • Spin 14 – 9,000 Points
    • Spin 15 – 8,500 Points
    • Spin 16 – 8,000 Points
    • Spin 17 – 7,500 Points
    • Spin 18 – 7,000 Points
    • Spin 19 – 6,500 Points
    • Spin 20 – 6,000 Points

Points can also be deducted by hitting a devil which cuts half your score, and paying for the last four spins, because every player only gets a total of 20.
